Our history
As early as 1920, Friedrich Stoll opened his first leather shop in Frankfurt. He offered an exceptionally high standard of service and was known for his close relationship with customers. This made him so successful that his leather shop soon became one of the leading suppliers of bags and suitcases throughout Germany.
In 1998, the long-established company passed to the next generation: Dr Joachim Stoll took over the business. Under his leadership, tradition met modernity, as alongside the high-street shop, Koffer24 was launched – Germany’s first online shop for suitcases, bags, rucksacks and more.
In 2026, the portfolio was systematically expanded: www.luxloop.de was launched as a further online shop specialising in new and preloved luxury items in the leather goods and accessories sector. LuxLoop combines its long-standing expertise in the leather goods sector with a modern, sustainable approach, offering customers a curated selection of high-quality branded products – both new and second-hand.
In this way, LuxLoop continues the company’s tradition whilst complementing it with a contemporary concept that combines quality, style and responsible consumption.
Our history

In 2026, the product range was significantly expanded: www.luxloop.de was launched as an additional platform within the group, specialising in carefully selected luxury items from renowned brands. The range comprises new, preloved and vintage items from the categories of bags, leather goods, accessories and other special luxury and collector’s items.
LuxLoop complements Koffer24 with a curated selection of high-quality brands and exceptional finds. The focus is on quality, authenticity and careful selection – from iconic classics to rare and special pieces.
As a result, the group now combines long-standing retail expertise and modern e-commerce structures through two independently positioned online shops: Koffer24, a specialist in luggage and bags, and LuxLoop, a curated destination for exceptional luxury items.
It never stops
Since March 2021, a new generation has taken over the reins at Koffer24. As the new operator, WYDN GmbH, based in Augsburg, is constantly developing the online shop further and has set itself the task of offering both established manufacturers and, in particular, young and sustainable brands an innovative platform for their products. Koffer24 acts as a direct link to the customer. When selecting manufacturers, particular emphasis is placed on high product quality, thereby upholding a tradition stretching back over 100 years. This is combined with a modern approach, with a focus on environmental protection and sustainability.
As part of this ongoing development, the product range was strategically expanded in 2026: www.luxloop.de was launched as an additional platform within the group, specialising specifically in new and preloved luxury items in the leather goods and accessories sector. LuxLoop complements Koffer24 with a curated selection of high-quality premium and luxury brands and reinforces the focus on sustainable consumption through the reuse of exclusive products.
As a result, the group now combines classic retail expertise, modern e-commerce structures and a consistently sustainable approach across two clearly positioned online shops.
