This exceptional set of four surrealist photo-collages by Salvador Dalí and Robert Descharnes, dating from around 1968, brings together iconic motifs and the unmistakable visual language of Surrealism. The works combine photography, collage and artistic staging to create striking compositions brimming with symbolism, imagination and visual sophistication.
Each work has been produced as a colour dye-transfer print with collage on lightweight card – a high-quality technique renowned for its brilliant colours and exceptional depth of detail. All four works are hand-signed, numbered and bear a corresponding inscription by both artists.

About Salvador Dalí
