Hasbro Star Wars Chess Set – Vintage Set from 1996
This Star Wars chess set from Hasbro, released in 1996, combines the classic strategy game with the world of Star Wars. Instead of traditional chess pieces, well-known characters and motifs from the Star Wars universe face off against one another – a special set for fans, collectors and chess players.
The set comprises a total of 32 painted resin chess pieces, a fold-out chessboard and the game instructions entitled ‘CHESS-SCHACH’. The pieces are stored in the dedicated insert. The original packaging is also included.
The chess set has been carefully preserved over the years and has hardly been used. The pieces, accessories and packaging are all in near-new condition. It is precisely because of its age and the fact that it is complete that the set is also of interest to Star Wars collectors.
