About Udo Lindenberg
Udo Lindenberg (born 1946) is one of Germany’s best-known rock musicians and, alongside his musical career, has also established himself as a visual artist. His colourful, often humorous works combine characteristic figures with social themes, personal messages and his unmistakable style.
He is particularly well known for his so-called ‘Likörelle’, in which Lindenberg uses alcoholic drinks as a medium for painting. He also produces drawings, paintings and prints, which often reflect his views on peace, freedom and social cohesion.
As a long-standing supporter and ambassador for UNICEF, Lindenberg is committed to children’s rights and living conditions. The 2019 ‘Give Peace a Chance’ campaign combines this commitment with his artistic work. The personally signed UNICEF card is therefore not only a collector’s item, but also a testament to his commitment to peace and humanity.
