Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864–1901) was a French painter, graphic artist and illustrator, and is regarded as one of the most important artists of the Post-Impressionist era. He became particularly famous for his expressive posters and depictions of Parisian life at the end of the 19th century. His works frequently depict female artists, dancers, musicians and figures from Parisian entertainment culture.
